Lakeland Park POA History

The Lakeland Park Property Owners Association was formed in 1970 as a for-profit corporation. Within days of its Articles of Incorporation, the Association purchased the property at 12923 On the Lake Road — popularly known as “the T Docks”. The property is an easement for property owners in Lakeland Park Subdivision and Lakeland Park Waterfront to access the shores of Lake Austin. Originally a water pump existed on the property that supplied running water to area residents. The Association managed the maintenance of the pump by collecting dues along with water usage fees from property owners.

Today, the Lakeland Park Property Owners Association exists for the purpose of managing the park with maintenance of the property and T-Docks on behalf of its members.

Board of Directors

The Lakeland Park Property Owners Association is managed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors are responsible for maintaining the solvency of the corporation, management and maintenance of the park and rules and deed restriction enforcement related to the park.
